CHRISTIANITY
CHINA
CAPITALISM
With 5,000-6,000 years of proven history and communism taking its hold in 1949, China must be talked about in terms of our jobs and our economy. You may be for or against the U.S.A. reaching out to China and hosting a formal dinner that some say was long overdue and others feel there is no need for the formality. Can we afford to ignore such a massive country in terms of population, sheer size, political and economic power? A country that some say owns a piece of the U.S.A. on paper. Analysts say China needs the U.S.A. more than the U.S.A needs China. At the end of the day both countries seem to be in need of one another no matter the degree of need. China isn’t going anywhere and yes many of their government practices go against our core beliefs.
An extremely strange and unlikely phenomenon has been taking place in China. It has been a long time coming since the Cultural Revolution of China in the mid 1960′s and the massacre at Tiananmen Square in 1989. China’s focus has always been on business and ways to stay in the game earning profits. China can’t afford economic mistakes given its population of over 1.3 billion people on a planet that holds approximately 6.7 billion total. China carries 20% of the world’s population. China is slowly opening its doors to bits and pieces of Christianity. It may not be that those in control are for Christianity in their hearts, though we can’t say, but they acknowledge the positive influence Christianity has on their economy. The more they loosen the restraints on Christianity the more the country prospers & we can attest to China’s most recent growth spurt toward the number two spot of economic world powers. China’s people are responding more favorably once converting to Christianity and more people are coming out of the closet with their Christianity. Some list China’s main religions or beliefs as Atheism, Buddhism, Shenism-Taoism, Islam, Confucianism, Catholicism, & Protestantism. Many argue which ones are more popular but most would agree that China’s government has pursued and encouraged Atheism with great fervor.
HAS CHINA COME TO THE REALIZATION THAT CHRISTIANITY IS GOOD FOR CAPITALISM?
China is moving further away from Communism for over thirty years. It is a slow but steady process. The motivation behind the change is rooted in job and economic growth. So while it may not be pure its happening and perhaps purity will follow the economic effects. Don’t make the mistake of thinking Christians are welcomed in every corner of this massive land. There is still a great deal of persecution against Christians and other religions though some would argue the validity of this allegation. We allow the missionaries we know personally to tell their stories. The stories speak of persecution being alive and well. Some statistics indicate more people are behind bars in China for their faith than in any other country.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
-
It is reported that three or more people are forbidden from gathering for religious sake without prior government approval.
-
Churches and other places of worship remain unregistered and thus illegal in China because to register your place of worship means the government controls what you do, who does it and how they do it.
-
It is illegal to educate a person under the age of 18 about God/Jesus.
-
The torture that many endure is unspeakable in the attempt by police to convince their captives to turn in others.
Many churches remain underground with “look-outs” in the event of raids that result in torture and murder, which are common. The worshipers are often told to “keep it down” when their excitement builds for their faith. There are Christians in China who have a very different account of their ability to practice their faith arguing there are no issues. Jim Mingri, a pastor of the Zion Church is one of them. He is proof that things are changing in China and that not everyone’s experience is the same. Did the Chinese government formally request the 700 Club appoint Christian ministers to spread the Gospel? We don’t know the specifics. So if you ever wonder why Christians in the U.S.A fight so hard for their right to practice, its because every religion, belief system, race, or classification of people is closer to losing their rights and freedoms as we know it because we live with a false sense of security. We fail to realize that a single catastrophic act or occurrence or subtle and gradual opinions can alter the way the country and world look at you. You can fall out of or in favor in a single day. 911 is a perfect example of an immediate shift in reaction toward Islam while Sikh followers were also targeted out of ignorance for the differences in attire. We are all susceptible. What we fight for in this country is what we fight for in every country for every person.
http://www.pbs.org/frontlineworld/stories/china_705/interview/extended.html The word underground is being replaced with independent.
We take much for granted in the USA, including those of us who choose not to worship. We have the freedom to attend or not attend a church, a synagogue or any place of worship for a wedding, a funeral or a social gathering of any kind at your leisure. How many people who don’t practice a religion have had the luxury and freedom of attending a church because of an affair or event inolving a friend, family member or co-worker? Keep in mind many faiths are under persecution in China. As we look at the economy of America we MUST look at the economy of the world and other leading nations. Our jobs are effected by jobs overseas and vice versa. We can’t ignore their existence any more than they can ignore ours. How do we work side by side with a nation so different than ours politically and socially? Is it even feasible? Should it be attempted?
Perhaps closing the door on China would also be like closing the door on the Christians and Capitalists of China. China is more than just its government. Its 1.3 billion people who we can guarantee aren’t just vying for the number two position. They won’t stop climbing until they reach number one. When you witness someone you don’t care for (because their ethics differ from yours) climbing the ladder toward CEO in your company or some other powerful position, do you ignore them or do you strive to bridge the gap because that person will influence your livelihood? Your voice must be heard because it is crucial to your survival & the company’s survival. We witnessed what happens in the court room to the companies who hire and promote executives who are unethical while ruling with arrogance and an unyielding iron fist. Is China changing?

HAPPY NEW YEAR & FAREWELL TO CELEBRITIES & NOTABLE PEOPLE 2000-2010
Heading into the 2011th New Year of Anno Domini, we like to reminisce with our audience over the last eleven years (2000-2010). This segment is dedicated to the memories of people who walked this planet. Whether we embraced them or not we believe their names will jar something inside of us. This country and this world has potential beyond recognition if only we would direct our energy and resources toward good and remain constructive and productive, we could be witnesses to even greater accomplishments within ourselves and others.
Let 2011 be a year where…
- we pass a little less judgment
- we open our hearts to those that fall outside our comfort zone
- we search for things we can do for others in service to mankind
- we relinquish a few degrees of self absorption and self focus
- we recognize and celebrate our small victories and count our blessings thanking Something/Someone more intelligent & powerful than us
- we recognize our flaws and mistakes and move forward using them as a learning tool and not an excuse to continue to fall short
- we face every trial and punch in life as an “I dare you” challenge with the fervor of a warrior and the courage of a lion

STAY THE COURSE AS CHECKING & SAVINGS ACCOUNTS ARE DEPLETED
With no unemployment extensions and no increase in job availability, people are running out of options, time and patience. We are doing our part every day to encourage employers to consider expansion and growth. We agree with some of our readers that at some point the real repairs to the economy are going to have to come from us and the market itself. There isn’t much any government or administration can do to positively impact the domestic and international markets. Its been several years now and we are no further along than we were when people first started losing their jobs in large numbers. Any changes that have taken place have occurred without effecting the middle and lower classes in a positive way. The bail out money from President Bush and President Obama was suppose to help stir growth in our economy, but it appears that money is long gone. The purpose it probably served was to help prevent these companies from collapsing all together.
REAL REPAIRS:
Putting a halt on spending, hiring, growth, and general market activity is what compounds the issues of the economy further. Everyone is frozen in fear and we think we are doing the right thing by stopping when in fact we are adding to the issues in our economy which eventually will come back to harm many more businesses more severely. What good is it to hold on to the dollars you have if the value of the dollar becomes worthless? A worthless dollar is worth nothing whether you have ten of them, a thousand of them or a million of them. If it turns into Monopoly money then quantity will have no impact on its worth. We have to start thinking in terms of fixing this one person at a time, one family at a time, one business at a time and one community at a time. Consumers seem to be doing their part as they hit the malls and retail shops along with the Internet and catalogues for general shopping, Christmas gifts, holiday gifts and other consumer related activities.
SNAP OUT OF IT:
I don’t know if most of us are still staring in the direction of Washington D.C. or what. We know they probably need our help as much as we need theirs. We might have a lot more flexibility than they do when it comes to impacting the economy. We must work in concert with what they are doing in D.C.. We have to snap out of the stunned gaze we have grown accustomed to when taking in all the two steps forward three steps backward sites of Washington D.C., our state and local politicians. If we wait for something to change on that end, we could be waiting a generation or more. For whatever reason their hands are tied. We’ve viewed a good number of the links our subscribers leave in their comments and they are interesting to say the least. We don’t care why their hands are tied or who tied them. We know we run into similar problems no matter who is in office. We can only assume they are also running into the same problems. The semantics no longer matter. We must begin moving. We have to grow. We have to stimulate our own growth. We can’t wait to hear a good word from the coach on the sidelines because he or she is immobile and stunned themselves. It is up to us as a few of our readers have suggested. If its not up to us, we need to take control and make sure it becomes about us.
WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSE TO DO?
Take risks. Not just any risk, but take calculated risks. Spend. Don’t just spend anything anywhere, but spend in the same calculated format that you assume other risks. Remember what kind of spirit you had when you first started your business, career or best part of your life. We took risks then didn’t we? Don’t let any event or anyone beat that lively spirit out of you.

IS IT A RECESSION OR A TRANSITION?

We recently heard an argument that dictated our country is not in a depression or a recession. The individual made some interesting points worth exploration. They said in two years both Democrats and Republicans will be facing the same problems we are facing today with little to no change. We hope this argument is wrong, but again we offer everyone the opportunity to conduct their own research as we will do the same in the future. The person contended that every single country on this planet which is NOT an INDUSTRIAL COUNTRY is a poor country. Most people would agree with this statement. We were once an industrial country but now we are in a transition. Most would agree with this statement as well. This is what they mean when they say we are not in a recession or a depression. What we are experiencing is the transition period itself of the shift from industrial to non-industrial and there is a great deal of fall-out from such activity. We have outsourced countless jobs away from the USA for good. Our technology has increased thereby moving industrialism to the side according to the speaker. It’s suggested that our repair of the country must come from a structural standpoint. In other words we must address the very structure of our country and economy and re-establish it before we can even think about reaching any level of success in generating jobs. This is not a Democrat or a Republican issue. It supersedes every political party and style of offense and defense whether that be liberal or conservative.
Here is what is said we can expect to happen if we neglect to address the country’s structure. Apparently we will see massive closings of colleges and great malls and much more. The stage for these issues are said to have been set when we signed away our ability to trade within our borders. Free trade treaties were signed and when they were this individual believes we set the wheels in motion for a continuous downward spiral that has nothing to do with who has the House, the Senate or the Presidency. It is quite frightening. So far no politician has spoken like this or about this issue to date and even if one did, it would take a majority to adopt these opinions for there to be any hope. Again we hope the individual is dead wrong, but we can’t ignore statements just because those statements are difficult to absorb or make us uncomfortable.
Finally, the person mentioned that China will always outdo us in terms of production, investments and handling of their economy because they understood early on that the structural outline and inner workings of any economy is what must be attacked, understood and manipulated to the advantage of the country. China has captured this concept and controlled it. It’s only a matter of time until they surpass us. This statement really made us perk up because all the numbers show China recently moved into the top few positions and all news reports in the last two to three months announced how China was on their way to becoming the number one world economic power. With economic power often times comes social and political power as well.
We invite any one to share your thoughts on this individuals view of our economy and politics.
Do you feel there is any truth to this person’s assertions about our economy and country?

WHAT IS A REPUBLICAN? (Independents Too) A RECRUITERS JOB BLOG
“Only free men can negotiate; prisoners cannot enter into contracts. Your freedom and mine cannot be separated.” Nelson Mandela
We have covered the Tea Party, Democrats & now Republicans. You may have decided or you may decide not to join any particular political party while still exercising your right to vote. People who have no political affiliation are known as Independents, “non-partisan” or “decline-to-state” voters.
Being an Independent in the above context is not the same as being a member of the AMERICAN INDEPENDENT PARTY, though many voters make this mistake. These are two very different concepts which is why “non-partisan” or “decline-to-state” voters is more suitable for an Independent who has no intention of joining any party.

Best Services Online addresses politics in a non-partisan fashion because of its effects on the economy, unemployment, charities, businesses & households across America and throughout all nations.
REPUBLICAN: (courtesy of Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Party_(United_States)
“…The Republican Party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the United States, along with the Democratic Party. Founded by anti-slavery expansion activists in 1854, it is often called the Grand Old Party or the GOP, despite being the younger of the two major parties. The party’s platform is generally considered right of center in the U.S. political spectrum.
The Republican Party has the second most registered voters as of 2004 with 55 million, encompassing roughly one-third of the electorate.[1] Republicans currently fill a minority of seats in both the United States Senate and the House of Representatives, hold a minority of state governorships, and control a minority of state legislatures.
Founded in northern states in 1854 by anti-slavery activists, modernizers, ex-Whigsand ex-Free Soilers, the Republican Party quickly became the principal opposition to the dominant Democratic Party.[2][3] It first came to power in 1860 with the election of Abraham Lincoln to the presidency; it presided over the American Civil War and Reconstruction.[4]
The first official party convention was held on July 6, 1854 in Jackson, Michigan. The Republicans’ initial base was in the Northeast and Midwest and the party solidified its position as the second party with the nomination of John C. Fremont in the 1856 Presidential election. Early Republican ideology was reflected in the 1856 slogan “free labor, free land, free men.”[5] “Free labor” referred to the Republican belief in a mobile middle class that left the workforce and set up small businesses. “Free land” referred to Republican opposition to slave labor. The Party had the goal of containing the expansion of slavery, which would cause the collapse of the Slave Power and the expansion of freedom.[6] Lincoln, representing the fast-growing western states, won the Republican nomination in 1860 and subsequently won the presidency. The party took on the mission of saving the Union and destroying slavery during the American Civil War and over Reconstruction. In the election of 1864, it united with pro-war Democrats to nominate Lincoln on the National Union Partyticket…” (end of Wikipedia’s quotes)
WHAT DOES GOP STAND FOR? It is an acronym-nickname for the Republican Party and has taken on various forms with everything from 1875 – Gallant Old Party later it became Grand Old Party.
REPUBLICAN symbol is the: ELEPHANT
DEMOCRAT symbol is the: DONKEY
